Paul Sharp

Paul started teaching people to drive in July, 2005. As well as teaching unqualified drivers how to drive, he also helps to train other people to become instructors.

He says:

It’s the best job in the world sometimes. I love watching people develop their skills and confidence. I did all sorts of jobs before I became an instructor, but when I started doing this, I knew straight away that I’d found something that suited my strengths and personality.

Paul’s tuition goes well beyond the rules of the road. He teaches his pupils only the highest standards, right from day one. He’s endlessly patient, has a good sense of humour, and a sympathetic ear.

Please see our driving lesson prices for  details on pricing. Paul is based in Wallasey and mainly covers people that live in North Wirral, from Wallasey to West Kirby.

Helen Richards

If you’d prefer a female instructor, Helen has been with Paul for about a year.

We’d been looking to take on new instructors for quite some time, but wanted to make sure we got the right people, using the same methods and ideas, so we chose to train people to become instructors, rather than take on people who we knew nothing about. Helen was one of the first to do instructor training with us.

She’s now been with us for about a year, and is especially good with nervous pupils because of her gentle manner, and self deprecating sense of humour.

Helen lives in New Ferry, so she’s local for anyone who’s looking for lessons from Tranmere to Eastham.
