Driving Instructor Training
Could you be a driving instructor?
It’s a varied and challenging role. A job that offers you the freedom to be your own boss, and to earn a reasonably good living.
Above all, being an instructor requires good people skills. You need to be able to listen as well as to talk. A good sense of humour, and boundless patience are a must!
You will need to have, or acquire (we provide all necessary training) a comprehensive knowledge of the rules of the road, and the ability to drive to a very high standard.
You will need good organisational skills to maintain a complex and ever changing diary, and possibly to run and promote your own small business.
You must be at least 21 years old, have fewer than six points on your license, and you must have held that license for at least three years.
Most driving schools that offer instructor training offer a fixed number of hours for your money.
We don’t limit how much training you get. Come along to as many sessions as you like, for as long as you need. You will also get the chance to sit in on real lessons, free of charge.
Right now, we offer the complete course for just £1,000, on a pay-what-you-can-afford basis. When your payments reach the total, we stop taking money from you. This price does not include the fees charged by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) for the various tests and badges you need.
